Local printing slow due to low memory and EMF enabled.
Cause:
The computer does not have enough memory to run EMF spooling. Enabling EMF increases printing speed only if the computer has enough memory to allow this background printing.
Solution:
In the 'Printers' window, right-click on the printer icon and select 'Properties'. Click the 'Details' tab and click 'Spool Settings...'. Select the 'Spool print jobs so program finishes printing faster' radio button and select the 'Start printing after last page is spooled' radio button.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select the 'Settings' and select 'Printers'. (The 'Printers' window appears.)

3) Right-click on the printer icon to display the pop-up menu.
4) Select 'Properties'. (The selected printer 'Properties' dialog box appears.)
5) Click the 'Details' tab.
6) Click 'Spool Settings...'. (The 'Spool Settings' dialog box appears.)
7) Select the 'Spool print jobs so program finishes printing faster' radio button.
8) Do one of the following:
a) Select the 'Start printing after last page is spooled' radio button.
b) Select the 'Start printing after first page is spooled' radio button.
NOTE: Printing will be faster if you select the 'Start printing after first page is spooled' radio button.
9) In the 'Spool data format' drop-down list box, select 'RAW'.
10) Click 'OK' to close the 'Spool Settings' dialog box.
11) Click 'OK' to close the selected printer 'Properties' dialog box.
12) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Close' to exit the 'Printers' window.
